Special Agent Melanie Adams has almost 29 years with the FBI, with a strong background in Cyber Crime, computer intrusions, and training. She has worked on the following squads: Bank Robbery and Fugitive Squad, Organized Crime and Drug Task Force Squad, and a Cyber Crime squad.  Currently, she works work on the Private Sector Engagement Squad which engages the private sector to talk about and address mutual threats such as Cyber Security, Intellectual Property Theft and Economic Espionage, Insider Threats, Active Shooter, etc.

Chris Hadnagy

Social-Engineer, LLC Founder and CEO

Christopher Hadnagy is the founder and CEO of Social-Engineer, LLC.  During Chris’ 17 years in the information security industry, he created the world’s first social engineering framework and newsletter, as well as hosted the first social engineering-based podcast.
Chris is also a well-known author, having written five books on social engineering. Chris’ new book, “Human Hacking: Win Friends, Influence People and Leave Them Better Off for Having Met You”, released January 5, 2021.

Chris is an Adjunct Professor of Social Engineering for the University of Arizona’s NSA designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO). He also lectures and teaches about social engineering around the globe. Moreover, he’s been invited to speak at the Pentagon, as well as other high-security facilities.  Additionally, as the creator of the world’s first Social Engineering Capture the Flag (SECTF), Chris leads the way in educating people on this serious threat.

Chris works with some of the world’s leaders in scientific research for the purpose of acquiring a deeper understanding of social engineering. Notably, Chris authored a book with Dr. Paul Ekman regarding the use of nonverbal communication by social engineers. Chris is certified as an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) as well as an Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP).  He is also the creator of the Social Engineering Pentest Professional (SEPP) and Master’s Level Social Engineering (MLSE) Certifications.

 

Jill Jones

Jill

Jill L. Jones is currently the Director of Global Security, Blue Team at Facebook, and previously served as Facebook’s Director of Executive Protection, overseeing the protection of Facebooks’ CEO, COO and several business leaders. In her current tenure, Jill oversees Governance, Project Management, Security Standards and Business Processes for Global Security. The Blue Team collectively takes enterprise-wide opportunities and challenges and creates long-term mitigation plans to put the organization in the most defensible position.

Prior to joining Facebook’s Global Security team in 2013, Jill served as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service for over ten years. As a USSS agent, Jill served in both the Boston and San Francisco Field Offices, and finished her career in law enforcement on the Vice Presidential Protection Division in Washington D.C. As a Special Agent, Jill had the privilege of protecting several former Presidents, Vice Presidents, multiple Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates, and foreign dignitaries.

Jill also served as the Press Agent for the 2008 Presidential Campaign of Barack Obama, coordinating security and logistics for the national and international press corps. She has worked and organized protection assignments in all fifty states, and over 15 countries. Jill remains committed to advancing the Executive Protection and Security industry and its dedicated professionals. Jill holds a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, and is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New York.

 

Chuck Tobin

Chuck Tobin has served as President of AT-RISK International since 2003, bringing over 30 years of experience protecting people, property and operations for clients worldwide. Mr. Tobin serves as Chair of Standards and Guidelines on the ASIS Executive Protection Council and Vice President of the  International Protective Security Board (IPSB). From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Tobin acted as President of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) and currently serves as their Chair of International Relations. Mr. Tobin is the recipient of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Commissioners Medal for volunteer efforts in advancing threat assessment in the state of Florida.

During his time as chairman for ATAP’s Certification Committee, Mr. Tobin developed the security industry’s first Certified Threat Manager (CTM) credential, providing proof of knowledge and management abilities in violence risk assessment. He earned his CTM certification in 2015 and was an integral part of the Executive Protection Core Competencies Project, bringing together subject matter experts from around the world to create higher standards for the security industry. Mr. Tobin has also served as National Director of Security and consultant to United States Presidential, Prime Minister and international elected official campaigns around the world.

As President of AT-RISK International, Mr. Tobin develops best practices for the company and leads complex threat investigations and executive protection risk assessments for clients. He is a speaker, author and on-camera contributor with expertise in executive protection programming, comprehensive
security management, threat assessment and threat management.

 

Elizabeth Rice

Elizabeth Rice is the SVP of Business Operations & Strategy for Blackstone Consulting, Inc. She is responsible for human resources, learning and development, business consulting and communications for a 3000 person healthcare security organization. Elizabeth has over 16 years of professional consulting and business leadership experience, with 7 years of experience in healthcare security.  She has studied organizational cultures, global ideologies, business, education, and leadership development. Elizabeth holds an MBA and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Mills College, a Bachelor of Arts in Global & International Studies from UC Santa Barbara, and has been trained and certified in several leadership development & coaching methodologies. In her free time, you will find Liz on the trails in the mountains with her horse Party Girl or exploring new people and cultures somewhere in the world.

 

Melissa Engelstad

Accenture Inclusion and Diversity Lead, West Market

Melissa has over 20 years of Inclusion and Diversity experience across the non-profit and private sectors. For the last 15 years, Melissa has focused on cultivating an inclusive work environment in a corporate setting, where she currently leads Inclusion and Diversity for Accenture’s West Market Unit in the US. She has extensive knowledge and experience working across various dimensions of diversity in the areas of employee engagement, pipeline and talent management, analytics, training development and delivery, employee resource groups, and integrating diversity practices across all facets of the business. Additionally, Melissa has a specialized focus on LGBTQ inclusion, serving as an interlock across HR, benefits, legal and external partner organizations to ensure Accenture continues to lead in LGBTQ inclusive policies, programs and practices.

Prior to joining Accenture, Melissa worked with a non-profit in the local Denver metro area where she provided in-home coaching, counseling, and parenting education for families seeking self-sufficiency.


Sheldon Cummings

Intuit Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer (CDEIO)

Sheldon Cummings leads Intuit’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy as Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer (CDEIO). To ensure an important link to internal DEI initiatives and how they connect with our customers and partners, Sheldon plays a dual role as a leader within Intuit’s Sales organization. Sheldon joined Intuit in 2017. He has led a number of leadership positions across our Sales, Marketing, Global Partnerships and Global Operations teams. Throughout his time at Intuit, Sheldon played key roles in our diversity efforts and most recently served as the executive advisor to Intuit’s Racial Equity Advancement Leadership (REAL) Team. His expanded role as CDEIO was a natural fit, and began in January 2021.

Sheldon grew up in New York City, and graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA in Sociology and African-American Studies and received his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management with concentrations in Marketing, Finance and Strategy.

Geoff DeBoskey is a Managing Director at Accenture, responsible for employment law in North and South America as well as Accenture’s global immigration law program.

Prior to joining Accenture, Geoff was the head of Sidley Austin’s Employment and Labor Practice Group in Los Angeles and he represented a diverse portfolio of clients, including Accenture, in various areas such as complex class action litigation, wage and hour compliance, and equal employment opportunity issues. 

 

Erin L. Wilk

Facebook, Inc., Head of Global Security Center of Excellence

Erin

Erin has been with Facebook, Inc. for 5 ½ years and is currently the Head of the Global Security Center of Excellence, leading multiple global teams such as Business Solutions, Communications, People Excellence and Travel Safety. From 2006 to 2016, Erin was with Bank of America in Charlotte, NC, where she joined as a member of the Global HR Staffing team, supporting HR and Executive Recruiting.  In 2009, she moved into Global Corporate Security where she developed, implemented, and managed the Global Travel Safety Program for the company.  As a Senior Vice President, she was responsible for approximately 60,000 business travelers and over 130 country destinations a year.  Before her employment at the bank, Erin was a Professional Matchmaker and Senior Sales Director for It's Just Lunch!  Originally from Virginia, Erin graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Government and later completed the inaugural Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Manager Level certification course at the UVA Darden School of Business.  Erin is a Direct At-Large member of the GBTA Board of Directors and serves as a GBTA Ladders Emerging Leaders Program Co-Mentor. She is the former Chair of the GBTA Risk Committee, was a 2016 GBTA Masters Honors recipient and was recognized as the 2017 GBTA Direct Member of the Year. Erin also serves on the UBER for Business Advisory Board and the Advisory Board for the Global Congress on Travel Risk Management, is a Constituent Member of the Overseas Security Advisory Council and is Chair of Facebook’s Women in Global Security group.  Erin is a graduate of the FBI Citizen’s Academy and Leadership Charlotte Class 37 and is also a member of the Junior League and Second Vice President of The Engineers Club of Baltimore Board of Directors.
